MEET THE FOUNDER
One vivid memory I have from when I was younger is watching my aunt do her makeup. I was fascinated with all the products she had and what they could accomplish. My love of makeup was already there. Watching her do her makeup just ignited the spark. I begged my mom to buy me makeup for months. She finally caved in and bought me my first mascara at the age of 9. However, that wasn't enough for me. A couple of years of begging continued. She finally caved in when I told her; "Mom, eventually this is going to be my career, it's better I start practicing now. Eventually, I'm going to be doing makeup every day so I need to get good at it." By me saying that, it made her realize that I was serious and passionate about this hobby. She then bought me my first 4-panned eyeshadow palette at the age of 11. I was ecstatic that I could finally follow along with all the YouTube makeup tutorials I spent all my days watching. Her only rule was that I wasn't allowed to wear makeup in public. I was completely okay with that. All I wanted was to create art and master the craft of makeup. Eventually, I start doing friends and family's makeup for events. That led to me doing freelance makeup at the age of 17. With my anxiety, I tend to overthink. Which causes me to overpack. I would be on the BART train with multiple bags filled to the brim with different palettes and products. I remember thinking to myself, "If only there was a palette that had everything I needed". The possibility of creating a makeup brand never seemed attainable to me. It was like when a toddler says they want to be a pop star when they grow up. Eventually, after enrolling in almost every course at college, I found nothing that I was equally as passionate about. I went down a dark path. I would be crying to myself at night not knowing what I wanted to do in life. All I knew is that makeup had always been a passion of mine. One day I decided to just bite the bullet and try to start my own small business. I went into it with 0 knowledge or experience. During the past 2 years I've learned so much (made so many mistakes). I still am NOWHERE near where I want to be. However, I am continuing to go up that path. With your help, I get to achieve my dreams and goals.

JACQ
